In the 3rd match minute, Panetolikos PC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trifon Kiprianos to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Vyntra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolos Kouvarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Vyntra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apostolos Kouvarakis went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iosif Vyntra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolos Kouvarakis in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kámpos's Thanasis Louvaris got a free kick in the 14th minute. Telis Baroutis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Thanos Pikoulas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Panetolikos PC's Charis Mamatziolas in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charis Mamatziolas in the 24th minute of play forced Kámpos's goalkeeper Thanos Pikoulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolos Kouvarakis in the 26th minute of play forced Panetolikos PC's goalkeeper Iosif Vyntra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dimitris Kefallinos came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Kámpos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kefallinos couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Telis Baroutis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panetolikos PC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Leonidas Sakoulidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iosif Vyntra. Panetolikos PC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iosif Vyntra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Poursanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Trifon Kiprianos fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panetolikos PC's protests and gave Trifon Kiprianos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kámpos booed when Panetolikos PC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Kiprianos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charis Mamatziolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Thanos Pikoulas made a huge save. After the first half Kámpos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apostolos Kouvarakis to make the kick off. Charis Mamatziolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thanos Pikoulas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charis Mamatziolas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute Trifon Kiprianos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanos Pikoulas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trifon Kiprianos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leonidas Sakoulidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kámpos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonidas Sakoulidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Vyntra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iosif Vyntra made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Renos Zacharoulis sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Trifon Kiprianos made a precise shot to the right of Thanos Pikoulas. Kámpos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Lazaros Orfaniotis hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanos Pikoulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Mamatziolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasos Karagiannis in the 73rd minute of play forced Kámpos's goalkeeper Thanos Pikoulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanasis Louvaris hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thanos Pikoulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Mamatziolas in the 79th minute of play. Themistoklis Daniilidis hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Trifon Kiprianos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Nasos Karagiannis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanos Pikoulas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Telis Baroutis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thanos Pikoulas having to make a save. Panetolikos PC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
