A collision led to ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marin Calboreanu hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Chiotis came free, but Sotiris Vlachoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's Sotiris Vlachoudis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS from getting a goal against them. Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Ranowiecki in the 33rd minute of play. Sotiris Vlachoudis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zisis Tourkogiorgis in the 38th minute. If Prokopis Kourkoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Prokopis Kourkoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Prokopis Kourkoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Kostas Giotoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimos Chiotis to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Zisis Tourkogiorgis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Elikon Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Zisis Tourkogiorgis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sotiris Vlachoudis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Chiotis came free, but Sotiris Vlachoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Elikon Dragons's zone, Prokopis Kourkoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Giotoulis came out of the goal and Prokopis Kourkoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marin Calboreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute, Simos Tsabouris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofil Ranowiecki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Kostas Giotoulis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! After 85 played minutes Red Elikon Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Georgakos. The long shot by Thanasis Petris in the 86th minute really tested Kostas Giotoulis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 87 minutes into the match, ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Dimos Chiotis came free, but Sotiris Vlachoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Zisis Tourkogiorgis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's Sotiris Vlachoudis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marin Calboreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Red Elikon Dragons getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Konstantinos Georgakos hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
