Charis Roubesis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Manolis Koboropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charis Roubesis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Koboropoulos having to interfere. The supporters of Gσnthi booed when Salamanlí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Loumidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charis Roubesis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolis Koboropoulos having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iraklis Meletakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gσnthi's Charis Roubesis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manolis Koboropoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gσnthi's Minas Pandrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Lianopoulos in the 54th minute of play. Minas Pandrakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Lianopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Charis Roubesis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gσnthi's supporters rose to their feet, but Charis Roubesis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolis Koboropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Charis Roubesis came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Gσnthi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Roubesis couldn't finish the play. Minas Pandrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Lianopoulos in the 87th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Lazaros Dimakis put in a rough tackle. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gσnthi! In the 95th minute, Menios Laskarakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Iraklis Meletakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Pandrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minas Pandrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Sfakianos in the 98th minute of play. Kostas Lianopoulos took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Minas Pandrakis. Minas Pandrakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Salamanlí were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gσnthi for a fine match.
