Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tasos Boulas kicked off to start the match. Manolis Koboropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tasos Boulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tasos Boulas in the 10th minute of play forced Salamanlí's goalkeeper Manolis Koboropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Salamanlí getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alkaios Mavreas hit a great ball. When Tasos Boulas came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vidhiαkion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tasos Boulas couldn't finish the play. Kostas Lianopoulos struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sokratis Tsirimonakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salamanlí. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tasos Boulas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manolis Koboropoulos saved Salamanlí from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantinos Skarpathiotis got free with Manolis Koboropoulos in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iosif Mavroidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manolis Koboropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Vidhiαkion's Sokratis Tsirimonakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Lianopoulos in the 37th minute of play. Konstantinos Skarpathiotis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Manolis Koboropoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 41 minutes into the match, Vidhiαkion's goal looked a bit too open when Iraklis Meletakis came free, but Sokratis Tsirimonakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
After a defensive mix-up in Vidhiαkion's zone, Iraklis Meletakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sokratis Tsirimonakis came out of the goal and Iraklis Meletakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Iraklis Meletakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sokratis Tsirimonakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sofoklis Skandalakis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Tasos Boulas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Iraklis Meletakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sokratis Tsirimonakis. That made the score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salamanlí's Kostas Lianopoulos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Iraklis Meletakis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sokratis Tsirimonakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salamanlí. Sokratis Tsirimonakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Lianopoulos in the 86th minute. Vidhiαkion's Sokratis Tsirimonakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraklis Meletakis in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Salamanlí defense, Iosif Mavroidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolis Koboropoulos. The Salamanlí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolis Koboropoulos should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Salamanlí walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
