In the 27th minute, Anselmi Kuusiniemi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kyösti Kouhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT's Tomi Perälä proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT from getting a goal against them. Heikki Petriläinen charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heikki Petriläinen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Linnamaa booed when MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heikki Petriläinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT's Jere Puurunen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 45 minutes into the game, Jeremias Laurila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tomi Perälä was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ilkka Niemelä made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Anselmi Kuusiniemi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kyösti Kouhi. The goal made the score 1-3. After 57 played minutes Linnamaa got a freekick which was hit by Ali Forss. In the 73rd minute, Jere Puurunen made a precise shot to the right of Kyösti Kouhi. Linnamaa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Ali Forss charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Forss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Linnamaa's Ali Forss got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jere Puurunen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Linnamaa getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Joona Oksa hit a great ball. Jere Puurunen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Kyösti Kouhi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomi Perälä showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Laurila, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Kyösti Kouhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jere Puurunen in the 96th minute of play. The Linnamaa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT's performance. The match ended with a win for MASSIKKA61 PALLO POJAT.
