Petri Ryynänen kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Torsti Lähteenmäki's late challenge caught a Vääräkorpi IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsti Lähteenmäki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Torsti Lähteenmäki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim Jämsänen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joonatan Välivaara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saku Vanhatalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kauko Erkkilä read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saku Vanhatalo in the 13th minute of play forced Vääräkorpi IFK's goalkeeper Kauko Erkkilä to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Veikko Uusikartano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joonatan Välivaara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Kasklahti's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Jämsänen came free, but Joonatan Välivaara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmo Tuomisalo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Joonatan Välivaara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vääräkorpi IFK. Jaakko Kimmonen's late challenge caught a Kasklahti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaakko Kimmonen helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the match, Vääräkorpi IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Saku Vanhatalo came free, but Kauko Erkkilä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskari Lotvonen got free with Kauko Erkkilä in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kari Welling kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Oskari Lotvonen in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Asmo Tuomisalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Oskari Lotvonen made a precise shot to the right of Kauko Erkkilä. Vääräkorpi IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Oskari Lotvonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauko Erkkilä having to interfere. Timo Ketola kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Kasklahti's Ensio Hannus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asmo Tuomisalo made a kick off. A collision led to Kasklahti getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Eemeli Glad hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, Vääräkorpi IFK's Timo Ketola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joonatan Välivaara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vääräkorpi IFK reached it. Petri Ryynänen hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Veikko Uusikartano charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veikko Uusikartano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vääräkorpi IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! After 70 played minutes Vääräkorpi IFK got a freekick which was hit by Timo Ketola. Kasklahti's Joonatan Välivaara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmo Tuomisalo in the 73rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Timo Ketola put in a rough tackle. Saku Vanhatalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauko Erkkilä took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskari Lotvonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Kasklahti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vääräkorpi IFK:s goal. Veikko Uusikartano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 102 minutes, Oskari Lotvonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kasklahti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskari Lotvonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kasklahti had won after a very even match.
