Niko Söderström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pertti Piispa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Honkimaa F.C's Jaakkima Rinne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pertti Piispa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jaakkima Rinne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Niilo Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honkimaa F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Niilo Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pertti Piispa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niilo Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Honkimaa F.C's Kuisma Puutio got control of the ball when Taito Salomaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pertti Piispa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirkka Holttinen in the 35th minute of the match. Honkimaa F.C's Niko Söderström got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ultrAs fc's Pertti Piispa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Eklund in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Aappo Latvanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuisma Puutio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ultrAs fc defense, Miro Nikko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pertti Piispa. The ultrAs fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pertti Piispa should have stopped the shot. After the first half Honkimaa F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pertti Piispa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaakkima Rinne in the 84th minute of the match. ultrAs fc were furious when Sami Laukkanen was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pertti Piispa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eljas Kauppinen. After a defensive mix-up in ultrAs fc's zone, Niilo Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pertti Piispa came out of the goal and Niilo Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niko Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honkimaa F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
