Tuomas Lehtinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Aadolf Kananen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Matti Tuuri came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Kääpä FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matti Tuuri couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Kääpä FC's Aadolf Kananen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tuomas Lehtinen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, fc remu gave me a jacket's goal looked a bit too open when Aadolf Kananen came free, but Tuomas Lehtinen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, fc remu gave me a jacket's Jaakko Kuivaharju got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Aadolf Kananen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tuomas Lehtinen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. fc remu gave me a jacket's Tuomas Lehtinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aadolf Kananen in the 25th minute of play. Aadolf Kananen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuomas Lehtinen having to interfere. Tuomas Lehtinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matti Tuuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petteri Hytönen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Topi Vikström having to interfere. Seppo Sauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuomas Lehtinen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seppo Sauso ran back to his position shaking his head. Tuomas Lehtinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matti Tuuri in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kääpä FC's goalkeeper Topi Vikström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petteri Hytönen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kristian Savijoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petteri Hytönen in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Topi Vikström saved Kääpä FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Petteri Hytönen sped through Kääpä FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Topi Vikström. Matti Tuuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tuomas Lehtinen made a huge save. Seppo Sauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tuomas Lehtinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aadolf Kananen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Aadolf Kananen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Petteri Hytönen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Topi Vikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahto Pasanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aadolf Kananen in the 87th minute of play forced fc remu gave me a jacket's goalkeeper Tuomas Lehtinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
