The supporters of AC Vaalimaa booed when Niemi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakari Lahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severi Hakamäki charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severi Hakamäki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Niemi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ale Karalahti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Keijo Pietikäinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Leo Reponen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ale Karalahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Veikka Nurmi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Vaalimaa's Petri Vanhatalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AC Vaalimaa booed when Niemi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eino Tervo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorma Ahonen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Reponen. Niemi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, AC Vaalimaa's goal looked a bit too open when Aukusti Markkanen came free, but Petri Vanhatalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aukusti Markkanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Niemi FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
