Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Vålax booed when Potti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Risto Karjala didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Potti FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimi Viisala. Yrjö Hana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joona Kousa having to interfere. Aarno Kanerva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Joona Kousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aarto Ikola in the 23rd minute of play forced Vålax's goalkeeper Juha-Pekka Suoste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joona Kousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yrjö Hana in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Vålax's goal looked a bit too open when Aarto Ikola came free, but Juha-Pekka Suoste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Potti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pentti Kuivalainen to maneuver through the defense. Aarno Kanerva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Joona Kousa made a huge save. Joona Kousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yrjö Hana in the 41st minute of the match. Aarno Kanerva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joona Kousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joona Kousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aarno Kanerva in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aarto Ikola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yrjö Hana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joona Kousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Potti FC's Risto Karjala got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Potti FC got a freekick which was hit by Pentti Kuivalainen. Ilmo Ahosmäki, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vålax's zone, Jaakkima Haanpää stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juha-Pekka Suoste came out of the goal and Jaakkima Haanpää tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juha-Pekka Suoste made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jaakkima Haanpää sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 70 minutes, Yrjö Hana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vålax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yrjö Hana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aarno Kanerva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Joona Kousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aarto Ikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juha-Pekka Suoste having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Potti FC's Jaakkima Haanpää nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juha-Pekka Suoste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Pentti Kuivalainen kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Aarno Kanerva came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vålax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aarno Kanerva couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Vålax's Yrjö Hana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joona Kousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Potti FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Vålax side.
