Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tatu Laukkanen kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute of the match Tenho Laiho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joona Kousa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Tampere United's Tatu Laukkanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joona Kousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 8 played minutes Tampere United got a freekick which was hit by Kimi Viuhkola. The audience cheered when Risto Karjala's long shot passed Miro Pyhältö's right side. It was 1-1, 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tatu Laukkanen in the 13th minute of play forced Potti FC's goalkeeper Joona Kousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tampere United were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Potti FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tenho Laiho took the corner. The corner ended in Tenho Laiho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Potti FC's Joona Kousa did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Potti FC's Aarto Ikola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miro Pyhältö. That made the score 2-1 after 16 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miikka Jukkola during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Potti FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Joona Kousa went to the wrong direction when Tenho Laiho was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tampere United's Tatu Laukkanen got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Potti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gustafsson came free, but Joona Kousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aarto Ikola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miro Pyhältö having to make a save. Aarto Ikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aarto Ikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miro Pyhältö having to interfere. Miro Pyhältö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aarto Ikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Potti FC's Jimi Viisala got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Aarto Ikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Pyhältö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After a rather tough play, Potti FC's Aarto Ikola got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, Tampere United's Jan Gustafsson made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joona Kousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaakkima Haanpää received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Miro Pyhältö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aarto Ikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. If Jaakkima Haanpää had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potti FC's Jaakkima Haanpää got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Jan Gustafsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Potti FC had played much better football throughout.
