Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Åsgårda's Sauli Pakarinen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mika Rimpiläinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th match minute, Åsgårda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Usko Ruohonen to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Arho Saastamoinen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salomon Esala was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC Corvette's Edvard Tuominen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaarle Jokiranta in the 9th minute of play. Edvard Tuominen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sauli Pakarinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilmari Pihlanen took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salomon Esala. Salomon Esala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of FC Corvette booed when Åsgårda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jere Oinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salomon Esala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmari Pihlanen in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaarle Jokiranta during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Åsgårda got a freekick which was hit by Kaarle Jokiranta. Kaarle Jokiranta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edvard Tuominen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, FC Corvette's goal looked a bit too open when Sauli Pakarinen came free, but Edvard Tuominen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Ilmari Pihlanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Esala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, FC Corvette's goal looked a bit too open when Sauli Pakarinen came free, but Edvard Tuominen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Åsgårda's zone, Ilmari Pihlanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomon Esala came out of the goal and Ilmari Pihlanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, FC Corvette's goal looked a bit too open when Kaarle Jokiranta came free, but Edvard Tuominen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC Corvette's goalkeeper Edvard Tuominen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sauli Masalin. Salomon Esala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arho Saastamoinen in the 42nd minute of the match. FC Corvette's Edvard Tuominen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Corvette from getting a goal against them. Arho Saastamoinen struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Salomon Esala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Corvette.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arho Saastamoinen to strike the kick off in the second half. Åsgårda's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arho Saastamoinen 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Ilmari Pihlanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Salomon Esala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arho Saastamoinen in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salomon Esala saved Åsgårda from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Ilmari Pihlanen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salomon Esala. Ilmari Pihlanen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 77 minutes into the match, Åsgårda's goalkeeper Salomon Esala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arho Saastamoinen. Edvard Tuominen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jere Oinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Åsgårda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Ilmari Pihlanen scored to the left of an out of position Salomon Esala, making the score, 1-6. Arho Saastamoinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Arho Saastamoinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
