Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Niilo Sihvonen got the match started through his kick off. Lauri Suominen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuutti Metsäranta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Lauri Suominen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuutti Metsäranta. FC Rantapallot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauri Suominen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 10 minutes, Salomon Salermo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunners and the FC Rantapallot players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gunners's Salomon Salermo got a free kick in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannu Johansson during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hannu Johansson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The Gunners fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Gunners's Lauri Suominen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 22 minutes of play, FC Rantapallot's Niilo Sihvonen made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ylermi Väänänen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Gunners's Lauri Suominen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuutti Metsäranta. That made the score 3-1 after 25 minutes of play. After 31 minutes, August Puro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunners and the FC Rantapallot players grew even worse after the yellow card. August Puro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Rantapallot defense, Lauri Suominen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuutti Metsäranta. The FC Rantapallot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuutti Metsäranta should have stopped the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Lauri Suominen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauri Suominen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Nuutti Metsäranta managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Gunners's Lauri Suominen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lauri Suominen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lauri Suominen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gunners booed when FC Rantapallot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petteri Ollonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Lauri Suominen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauri Suominen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Verneri Kolsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nuutti Metsäranta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, FC Rantapallot's Niilo Sihvonen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ylermi Väänänen. Ylermi Väänänen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. After 64th play minutes Lauri Suominen shot 6-2, a short shot which went by Nuutti Metsäranta and just under the crossbar into goal. Lauri Suominen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nuutti Metsäranta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuutti Metsäranta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauri Suominen in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Rantapallot defense, Lauri Suominen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuutti Metsäranta. The FC Rantapallot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuutti Metsäranta should have stopped the shot. Roope Lehtilä's late challenge caught a FC Rantapallot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roope Lehtilä helped the player get up and apologised. FC Rantapallot's Maunu Palenius got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led Gunners's Lauri Suominen to fire away a dangerous shot which Nuutti Metsäranta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauri Suominen in the 88th minute of play forced FC Rantapallot's goalkeeper Nuutti Metsäranta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ylermi Väänänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niilo Sihvonen in the 91st minute of the match. Lauri Suominen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verneri Kolsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuutti Metsäranta having to interfere.
