Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Raine Kirjonen got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Sasi FC's Toivo Palonen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toimi Lindberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Toimi Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toivo Palonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Raine Kirjonen struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Pertti Karalahti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metalupuass. If Raine Kirjonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raine Kirjonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pertti Karalahti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Metalupuass getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jaakoppi Vapaniemi hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Kalevi Viljanen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toimi Lindberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Aarne Nurminen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Toimi Lindberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sasi FC booed when Metalupuass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sauli Metsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toivo Palonen hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The Sasi FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Sasi FC's Aarne Nurminen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Metalupuass players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sasi FC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toivo Palonen made a kick off. Vesa Vähä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pertti Karalahti having to interfere. Vesa Vähä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Sasi FC's Aarne Nurminen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toimi Lindberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Sasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terho Ristolainen to maneuver through the defense. If Vesa Vähä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Raine Kirjonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metalupuass's supporters rose to their feet, but Raine Kirjonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pertti Karalahti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Metalupuass's Toimi Lindberg got control of the ball when Aarne Nurminen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vesa Vähä's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pertti Karalahti was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Aarne Nurminen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metalupuass's Toimi Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toivo Palonen in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Aarne Nurminen could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Toimi Lindberg however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vesa Vähä managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metalupuass's supporters rose to their feet, but Vesa Vähä was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pertti Karalahti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd match minute, Sasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toivo Palonen to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Metalupuass lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
