Aaro Uitto in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Toimi Lindberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of FC Rantapallot booed when Metalupuass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teemu Lagerblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Niilo Sihvonen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metalupuass's Toimi Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaakoppi Vapaniemi charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaakoppi Vapaniemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Metalupuass got a freekick which was hit by Jaakoppi Vapaniemi. Maunu Palenius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toimi Lindberg. Metalupuass's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sauli Metsberg during the 69th minute. In the 95th minute Raine Kirjonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuutti Metsäranta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Metalupuass eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
