Sami Miinalainen charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sami Miinalainen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Eräslahti IFK got a freekick which was hit by Sami Miinalainen. In the 11th minute, Heikki Mikkola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heikki Mikkolas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Lari Kurri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Parkkila's Taavetti Brinck, in the 19th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Parkkila. Lari Kurri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavetti Brinck in the 21st minute of play. Lasse Rinne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahvo Pentsinen in the 24th minute of play. Lasse Rinne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juhapekka Sinkkonen in the 25th minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lari Kurri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taavetti Brinck in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Eräslahti IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Heikki Mikkola came free, but Lari Kurri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taavetti Brinck might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lari Kurri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taavetti Brinck ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 minutes, Santtu Viitanen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eräslahti IFK and the Parkkila players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69thth minute of the game Taavetti Brinck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eräslahti IFK's Lari Kurri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Taavetti Brinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lari Kurri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Santtu Viitanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eräslahti IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ossi Ojansuu was slow to take the kick. During this time Parkkila's players had a chance to rest. Ossi Ojansuu made a great header on Parkkila's corner, it was just that Eräslahti IFK's Lari Kurri managed to reach the ball for a save. Parkkila were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Eräslahti IFK for a fine match.
