Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toivo Roihuvuori took the kick off in the first half of the match. Toivo Roihuvuori took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antti Lydman. Antti Lydman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Salomo Riksman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teemu Henriksson in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Usko Raisanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vainionpohja FC's zone, Usko Raisanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomo Riksman came out of the goal and Usko Raisanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toivo Roihuvuori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antti Lydman having to interfere. Usko Raisanen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 32nd minute Toivo Roihuvuori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antti Lydman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Teemu Henriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kuurtola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Kuurtola's Eino Uitto got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ahvo Torkkeli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Salomo Riksman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teemu Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes, Pellervo Seva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vainionpohja FC and the Kuurtola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pellervo Seva hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vainionpohja FC's zone, Usko Raisanen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salomo Riksman came out of the goal and Usko Raisanen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Vainionpohja FC's Salomo Riksman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teemu Henriksson in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th minute, Albert Karhunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Ilkka Hagman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Salomo Riksman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Vainionpohja FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ahvo Torkkeli hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Kuurtola's Ilkka Hagman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salomo Riksman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kuurtola reached it. Teemu Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomo Riksman having to interfere. After 75th play minutes Teemu Henriksson shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Salomo Riksman and just under the crossbar into goal. Usko Raisanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Salomo Riksman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Usko Raisanen struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Salomo Riksman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kuurtola. Teemu Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Usko Raisanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomo Riksman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teemu Henriksson went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
