Kuno Raidla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eero Valgma, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Urmi booed when Vihmavari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Kapten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Egert Lepsoo made a precise shot to the right of Kalev Levisto. Vihmavari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Urmi's zone, Arne Kapten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuno Raidla came out of the goal and Arne Kapten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Urmi getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ingmar Aar hit a great ball. Rasmus Anton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kuno Raidla. Urmi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Vihmavari's goal looked a bit too open when Egert Lepsoo came free, but Kalev Levisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Urmi were awarded a corner. Ingmar Aar went to the cornerflag to take it. If Egert Lepsoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Kajar Lagle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalev Levisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingmar Aar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Vihmavari got a freekick which was hit by Elari Vee. 39 minutes into the game, Egert Lepsoo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urmi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vihmavari the free kick. Egert Lepsoo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne Kapten made a kick off. When Egert Lepsoo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Urmi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egert Lepsoo couldn't finish the play. Kalev Levisto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egert Lepsoo in the 55th minute. Jan Veevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalev Levisto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Urmi's Egert Lepsoo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kalev Levisto. That made the score 1-3 after 58 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Egert Lepsoo made a precise shot to the right of Kalev Levisto. Vihmavari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Kalev Levisto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egert Lepsoo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Jan Veevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalev Levisto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingmar Aar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 78 minute of play. Kalev Levisto made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Egert Lepsoo sent off a good shot on target. Kalev Levisto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agu Kosk in the 83rd minute. Egert Lepsoo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kalev Levisto came out and tried to block the shot, but Egert Lepsoo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 88th minute.
