Joonatan Lani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Mäetamm having to interfere. Haarald Sadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aivo Raitviir in the 13th minute of the match. Haarald Sadam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Lutter in the 18th minute. Joonatan Lani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Mäetamm having to interfere. Tom Mäetamm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joonatan Lani's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Haarald Sadam had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Valter Lipmeister's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eedi Loss charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eedi Loss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, FC Eestimaa Vägilased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eedi Loss to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Haarald Sadam successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute, Aivo Raitviir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Eestimaa Vägilased getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Väino Hermaste hit a great ball. Georg Lutter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Haarald Sadam made a huge save. After 49 minutes FC Eestimaa Vägilased's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valter Lipmeister who took care of the corner kick. Kaimo Nirk was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aivo Sade to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Kaimo Nirk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC P6RNU and the FC Eestimaa Vägilased players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Eestimaa Vägilased booed when FC P6RNU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaimo Nirk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haarald Sadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aivo Raitviir in the 66th minute of play. If Aivo Sade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC P6RNU's Aivo Raitviir got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, FC Eestimaa Vägilased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heldur Alango to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aivo Raitviir in the 80th minute of play forced FC Eestimaa Vägilased's goalkeeper Haarald Sadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, FC Eestimaa Vägilased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evald Velt to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Valter Lipmeister sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haarald Sadam skillfully saved the ball. Haarald Sadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaimo Nirk in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, FC Eestimaa Vägilased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evald Velt to maneuver through the defense. When FC P6RNU's Georg Lutter in the 100th minute got a chance for a shot 100th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Eestimaa Vägilased eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
