Fiorentina B's Kaljo Laud quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 16th minute, Erkki Ruus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mairo Ess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimond Silm in the 35th minute of play. Kaspar Avaja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Trac's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With an all-out effort, Fiorentina B's Kaspar Avaja threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomasz Trac, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Erki Golomb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiorentina B's Tomasz Trac was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomasz Trac made the kick off in the second half. Ahto Ambros kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fiorentina B's Mairo Ess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Särg in the 54th minute of play. Mairo Ess was a little too slow when Rene Särg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. Fiorentina B's attentive Harald Redi managed to snatch the ball when Olav Nõmmeots made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Kaspar Avaja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erki Golomb's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Pantifer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bert Etii to maneuver through the defense. Virgo Veisson lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fiorentina B! Fiorentina B's Mairo Ess proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Fiorentina B from getting a goal against them. Erki Golomb struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Kaspar Avaja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fiorentina B.
