Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Taimo Ernits started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Sander Alajaan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Soin skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Voru's zone, Jaagup Üksik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Merioja came out of the goal and Jaagup Üksik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Neeme Jõeäär came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Voru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neeme Jõeäär couldn't finish the play. Ago Elu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Aldo Soin made a huge save. Taimo Ernits's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivo Merioja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Jaagup Üksik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ivo Merioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Tartu Elephants booed when Voru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allar Olumets didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes FC Tartu Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Henry Seitse. A hard shot by Eino Pukk from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Aldo Soin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Voru's Neeme Jõeäär in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Tartu Elephants's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neeme Jõeäär made a kick off. If Ago Elu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Ago Elu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Neeme Jõeäär left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Voru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Aldo Soin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ago Elu in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes, Voru's Eino Pukk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Soin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Voru reached it. In the 78th minute Taimo Ernits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Merioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, FC Tartu Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taimo Ernits to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, Voru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jass Rahu to maneuver through the defense. Neeme Jõeäär took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Soin. Aldo Soin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. FC Tartu Elephants's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Voru had won, even though FC Tartu Elephants had held more of the ball.
