Jörgen Vesi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Tauno Anton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mati Laanemaa in the 6th minute of play forced FS Venkyula's goalkeeper Leo Olop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Vesi hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Emil Levisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 11 minutes, Heinrich Vananurm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FS Venkyula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heinrich Vananurm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heinrich Vananurm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Tauno Anton made a huge save. Enno Sepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Olop having to interfere. Tauno Anton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heinrich Vananurm in the 17th minute. Heinrich Vananurm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tauno Anton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eikki Öigus in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Payenurme's Tauno Anton got control of the ball when Heinrich Vananurm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ken Sepik hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Üllo Kaljundi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Leo Olop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enno Sepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Enno Sepp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Olop. FS Venkyula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enno Sepp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jörgen Vesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauno Anton having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eikki Öigus made a kick off. A collision led to FS Venkyula getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alfons Külaase hit a great ball. Leo Olop was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mati Laanemaa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. Heinrich Vananurm might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tauno Anton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heinrich Vananurm ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the FS Venkyula defense, Enno Sepp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Olop. The FS Venkyula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Olop should have stopped the shot. Jörgen Vesi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Heinrich Vananurm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauno Anton having to interfere. If Eikki Öigus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Payenurme's goal looked a bit too open when Eikki Öigus came free, but Tauno Anton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Payenurme walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
