After a defensive mix-up in SK Sojamaa's zone, Ott Arulepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Ehasalu came out of the goal and Ott Arulepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, SK Sojamaa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ott Arulepp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felix Ehasalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Vaide in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Heiki Hallast managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Sojamaa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heiki Hallast was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harri Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harri Hansson in the 32nd minute of play forced Peedu's goalkeeper Kaimo Rannus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SK Sojamaa booed when Peedu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illimar Helm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Theodor Uhtlik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Sojamaa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Taniel Allikvee struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Kaimo Rannus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Sojamaa. The audience was convinced that Harri Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaimo Rannus was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Theodor Uhtlik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaimo Rannus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Ergo Võsoberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kaimo Rannus. Peedu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, SK Sojamaa's Fred Õispuu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ott Arulepp succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Arthur Vaide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taniel Allikvee during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Harri Hansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
