Kaur Nõmmemaa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SK Khyademeste's Alvin Laur got a free kick in the 11th minute. Raul Muruaas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Kaldur in the 12th minute of the match. The FC Kopli Kiisud fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when FC Kopli Kiisud's Rein Trepp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st minute, Bert Kaldur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kopli Kiisud fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, FC Kopli Kiisud's Kaur Nõmmemaa got control of the ball when Osvald Külaots tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raul Muruaas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Trepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to SK Khyademeste getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Elmu Eesik hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Trepp in the 36th minute of play forced SK Khyademeste's goalkeeper Raul Muruaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, SK Khyademeste's Oskar Redi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaur Nõmmemaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bert Kaldur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Raul Muruaas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute of the match Elmu Eesik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaur Nõmmemaa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rein Trepp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, SK Khyademeste's Alvin Laur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaur Nõmmemaa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Redi in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Kopli Kiisud's goalkeeper Kaur Nõmmemaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, SK Khyademeste's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rein Trepp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of FC Kopli Kiisud booed when SK Khyademeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmu Eesik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaur Nõmmemaa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Külaots in the 81st minute of the match. Kaur Nõmmemaa came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by SK Khyademeste's Osvald Külaots. But to his dismay, Osvald Külaots quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, SK Khyademeste's Raul Muruaas got control of the ball when Rain Leevike tried to sneak it across the goal line.
