In the 2nd match minute, SK Meedla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siim Ojaperv to maneuver through the defense. Mait Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Varblane having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SK Meedla's Gustav Vall got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Jann Napasepp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siim Ojaperv hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Mehis Juura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, SK Meedla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Vaarandi to maneuver through the defense. Tom Varblane came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Arula's Mehis Juura. But to his dismay, Mehis Juura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mehis Juura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Varblane having to interfere. Raivo Aasa struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Tom Varblane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Arula. After a defensive mix-up in FC Arula's zone, Heiki Kuusik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neeme Veerma came out of the goal and Heiki Kuusik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Jass Jaanovits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Meedla's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 44th minute of the game, when Eimar Kübar after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of FC Arula's goal. Eimar Kübar was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jakob Eluvee kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Neeme Veerma. That made the score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakob Eluvee was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mehis Juura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimond Vedu in the 61st minute of play forced FC Arula's goalkeeper Neeme Veerma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Mehis Juura notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SK Meedla's Tom Varblane. Tom Varblane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mait Lillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mehis Juura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siim Ojaperv took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neeme Veerma. Neeme Veerma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 83 minutes into the match, SK Meedla's Valdo Vaarandi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neeme Veerma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aron Vaikma hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. FC Arula's Dan Lell was substituted for Jann Napasepp. After a rather tough play, FC Arula's Aron Vaikma got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mehis Juura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tom Varblane read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Arula players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
