Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kaur Karai started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Karl Ratas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wendau the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arni Marts got free with Lennart Ojasaar in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jass Maarjamaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antti Helm in the 10th minute of play. Karl Ratas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Wendau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Hillar Herde scored to the left of an out of position Lennart Ojasaar, making the score, 1-0. Jass Maarjamaa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaur Karai, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Kaur Karai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hillar Herde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lennart Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilita's Anti Õnnis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Markko Vellemäe, made in the 29th minute of the game. Marko Nigol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lennart Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hillar Herde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Ojasaar having to interfere. Hillar Herde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Ojasaar made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hillar Herde sent off a good shot on target. Lennart Ojasaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madis Velt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hillar Herde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lennart Ojasaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hillar Herdes short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Lennart Ojasaar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hillar Herde was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Markko Vellemäe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wendau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilita the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wendau's Markko Vellemäe got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hillar Herde in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Ojasaar saved Wendau from getting behind. Jass Maarjamaa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaur Karai in the 61st minute of play. When Hillar Herde came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Vilita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hillar Herde couldn't finish the play. Hillar Herde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Ojasaar having to interfere. Lennart Ojasaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Nigol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Vilita's Hillar Herde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennart Ojasaar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Wendau defense, Hillar Herde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Ojasaar. The Wendau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Ojasaar should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Ronald Riiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jass Maarjamaa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vilita's Jass Maarjamaa got control of the ball when Ronald Riiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilita's Hillar Herde got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hillar Herde in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Ojasaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lennart Ojasaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hillar Herde in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Hillar Herde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Ojasaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
