The referee ignored Rekhema SK's protests and gave Madis Virsa a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes into the game, Marko Salavesi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kutja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rekhema SK the free kick. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kutja! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Rekhema SK. Ervin Adamson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Koit Vanamees. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Viljar Arman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Kutja's goalkeeper Koit Vanamees had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdek Lattu. Valdek Lattu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rekhema SK booed when Kutja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Salavesi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madis Virsa was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Rekhema SK's Madis Virsa got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Eikki Raudsoo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Haljas was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Valdek Lattu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalju Juurikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Rekhema SK defense, Ando Kasepalu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Haljas. The Rekhema SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Haljas should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdek Lattu to strike the kick off in the second half. Eikki Raudsoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Haljas having to interfere. Rekhema SK's Leo Haljas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Rekhema SK from getting a goal against them. Ando Kasepalu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Leo Haljas made a huge save. If Valdek Lattu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Eikki Raudsoo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Haljas. Rekhema SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eikki Raudsoo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ingmar Türk hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Koit Vanamees showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdek Lattu in the 73rd minute of the match. Valdek Lattu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Koit Vanamees tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kutja players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
