Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Metsanurga's Kiur Pulver started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Ailar Hommik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metsanurga and the Woldi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ailar Hommik hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Woldi's Pavel Kungla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven Virkus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavel Kungla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Virkus having to interfere. Hando Karelson charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hando Karelson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Woldi booed when Metsanurga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hando Karelson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fred Põhjala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Põhjala struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sven Virkus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woldi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Kungla in the 16th minute of play forced Metsanurga's goalkeeper Sven Virkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Virkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Kungla in the 17th minute of play. If Pavel Kungla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Olev Veerma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Woldi's goal looked a bit too open when Kiur Pulver came free, but Hasso Tarand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Metsanurga's Olev Veerma made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasso Tarand was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 34 in the game by Olev Veerma from a close distance when the talented Hasso Tarand managed to make a qualified save. Woldi's players were relieved. Kiur Pulver might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hasso Tarand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kiur Pulver ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37thth minute of the game Pavel Kungla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metsanurga's Sven Virkus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Metsanurga booed when Woldi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Kadajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasso Tarand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olev Veerma in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavel Kungla to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olev Veerma in the 52nd minute of play forced Woldi's goalkeeper Hasso Tarand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Kungla might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Virkus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pavel Kungla ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Metsanurga's zone, Pavel Kungla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Virkus came out of the goal and Pavel Kungla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Põhjala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sven Virkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Ingmar Leppik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metsanurga and the Woldi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Ingmar Leppik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Hardi Viigipuu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Metsanurga's Sven Virkus didn't even have to move. In the 79th match minute, Metsanurga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Leppik to maneuver through the defense. If Pavel Kungla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiur Pulver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasso Tarand having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Fred Põhjala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sven Virkus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Woldi were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
