In the 3rd match minute, JK Mante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Laaneoks to maneuver through the defense. Sven Virkus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helari Lüdimois's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Heikko Antsov made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Olev Veerma sent off a good shot on target. JK Mante's Helari Lüdimois got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, JK Mante's Helari Lüdimois got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute, Ilmar Luberg made a precise shot to the right of Sven Virkus. Metsanurga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Elmar Laaneoks fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Mante's protests and gave Elmar Laaneoks a yellow card for diving instead. Elmar Laaneoks kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Kiur Pulver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heikko Antsov having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Elmar Laaneoks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38thth minute of the game Kiur Pulver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Mante's Heikko Antsov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olev Veerma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Heikko Antsov made a huge save. After having played for 41 minutes, Ilmar Luberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JK Mante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilmar Luberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilmar Luberg in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Virkus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Metsanurga booed when JK Mante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmar Laaneoks didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiur Pulver in the 66th minute of play forced JK Mante's goalkeeper Heikko Antsov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kiur Pulver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Ilmar Luberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sven Virkus, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Ratas during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fred Ratas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Olev Veerma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heikko Antsov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilmar Luberg in the 85th minute of play forced Metsanurga's goalkeeper Sven Virkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Virkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilmar Luberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91stth minute of the game Olev Veerma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Mante's Heikko Antsov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Metsanurga's zone, Ülo Normak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Virkus came out of the goal and Ülo Normak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The JK Mante supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JK Mante would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
