Kostas Gomatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agix Tsardikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Haides Paschalis came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tápais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haides Paschalis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tityos Gianakopulos in the 47th minute of play forced A.C OMONOIA's goalkeeper Aiolos Arvanitoyannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the final whistle sounded Tápais FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.C OMONOIA.
