Leukippos Mestas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Rachiotis in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, LAST SEASON's Marios Rachiotis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leukippos Mestas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Agesilaus Kyritsis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iakchos Saatsakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Khrisokhórafa's Menoikeus Kakos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, LAST SEASON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Likymnios Patsatzis to maneuver through the defense. Menoikeus Kakos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Iakchos Saatsakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Marios Rachiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Agesilaus Kyritsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakchos Saatsakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Babbis Garofalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agesilaus Kyritsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakchos Saatsakis having to interfere. After 35 played minutes LAST SEASON got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Garofalis. If Menoikeus Kakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menoikeus Kakos struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Iakchos Saatsakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khrisokhórafa. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Menoikeus Kakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes LAST SEASON got a freekick which was hit by Marios Rachiotis. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind LAST SEASON's goalkeeper Iakchos Saatsakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Agesilaus Kyritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agesilaus Kyritsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Iakchos Saatsakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Agesilaus Kyritsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakchos Saatsakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agesilaus Kyritsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Menoikeus Kakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakchos Saatsakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leukippos Mestas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 81st match minute, Khrisokhórafa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peneios Vakros to maneuver through the defense. If Marios Rachiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, LAST SEASON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Garofalis to maneuver through the defense. The Khrisokhórafa manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing LAST SEASON to win.
