Learkhos Dounias's late challenge caught a Papadátika BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Learkhos Dounias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Learkhos Dounias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Liverpool f.c's Ploutos Diamantopoulos got a free kick in the 7th minute. Arkas Giannopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seleykos Sakelaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omiros Koumanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thorikos Sakellariou's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Seleykos Sakelaris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Papadátika BC booed when Liverpool f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menoikeus Antoniou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes in the game, Omiros Koumanidis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omiros Koumanidis in the 27th minute of play forced Liverpool f.c's goalkeeper Seleykos Sakelaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thorikos Sakellariou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akis Bourikas kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Liverpool f.c's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Thorikos Sakellariou scored to the left of an out of position Seleykos Sakelaris, making the score, 1-0. Thorikos Sakellarious short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Seleykos Sakelaris to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 48 minutes into the match, Liverpool f.c's goalkeeper Seleykos Sakelaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikos Jamussa. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kerkyon Kouretas made the kick off in the second half. Seleykos Sakelaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorikos Sakellariou in the 57th minute of play. Omiros Koumanidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seleykos Sakelaris having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Thorikos Sakellariou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papadátika BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Haides Stagias made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Arkas Giannopoulos sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Arkas Giannopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haides Stagias. Papadátika BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkas Giannopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Kerkyon Kouretas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aias Sotiris hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Liverpool f.c's Seleykos Sakelaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorikos Sakellariou in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Liverpool f.c got a freekick which was hit by Akis Bourikas. Liverpool f.c's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
