The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Chronis Strilakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Takis Sortras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Karabatsos having to interfere. Chronis Strilakos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Michalis Karabatsos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chronis Strilakos went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Chronis Strilakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spiros Christakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michalis Karabatsos could save by the left post. Michalis Karabatsos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Spiros Christakis in the 22nd minute. Alkibiades Gavril showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makhaon Dioletis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Aietes Liberoyiannis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tsalapetinós BC's protests and gave Aietes Liberoyiannis a yellow card for diving instead. Aietes Liberoyiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tsalapetinós BC defense, Spiros Christakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michalis Karabatsos. The Tsalapetinós BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michalis Karabatsos should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute of the match, Spiros Christakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michalis Karabatsos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 32nd minute, Aietes Liberoyiannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Briarios Garofalis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alkibiades Gavril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musios Saatsakis in the 35th minute of the match. Chronis Strilakos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Chronis Strilakos made a precise shot to the right of Michalis Karabatsos. Tsalapetinós BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Chronis Strilakoss short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Michalis Karabatsos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 59th minute of the match Takis Sortras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michalis Karabatsos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA booed when Tsalapetinós BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Likourgos Skandalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tsalapetinós BC's goalkeeper Michalis Karabatsos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Michalis Karabatsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spiros Christakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA's Chronis Strilakos got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Chronis Strilakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Chronis Strilakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michalis Karabatsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Chronis Strilakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chronis Strilakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA booed when Tsalapetinós BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Likourgos Skandalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tsalapetinós BC's Vaggelis Arvanitoyannis got a free kick in the 80th minute. Chronis Strilakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes, Tsalapetinós BC's Akheloos Lakiotis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alkibiades Gavril came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tsalapetinós BC reached it. Spiros Christakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Michalis Karabatsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Sortras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OЯIGINAL KYPEЯOUNTA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
