Graikochóri's Haimon Tsardikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalkhas Grammatakakis in the 22nd minute of play. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Frosýni BC's Kalkhas Grammatakakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haimon Tsardikos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Aiakos Hadjiyianakies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haimon Tsardikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aiakos Hadjiyianakies came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Frosýni BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aiakos Hadjiyianakies couldn't finish the play.

54 minutes into the match, Aiakos Hadjiyianakies dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Haimon Tsardikos, 0-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haimon Tsardikos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Aiakos Hadjiyianakies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Graikochóri's Haimon Tsardikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalkhas Grammatakakis in the 76th minute of play. When Marios Arvanitoyannis fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Graikochóri's protests and gave Marios Arvanitoyannis a yellow card for diving instead. Stelios Telis charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelios Telis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Stelios Telis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes, Aris Gaitanis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frosýni BC and the Graikochóri players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Frosýni BC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Aris Gaitanis hit a great ball. If Kroios Sarantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Graikochóri's zone, Aiakos Hadjiyianakies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haimon Tsardikos came out of the goal and Aiakos Hadjiyianakies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aiakos Hadjiyianakies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Frosýni BC booed when Graikochóri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akhilleus Mentis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aiakos Hadjiyianakies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Frosýni BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Graikochóri throughout the match.
