Zinon Georgas succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Zinon Georgas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nestoras Roussos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Zinon Georgas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Roussos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrastos Rousses showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Terovolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Zinon Georgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestoras Roussos having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kolierí's Zinon Georgas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestoras Roussos. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akis Tourna during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Ionikón FC got a freekick which was hit by Akis Tourna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinon Georgas in the 37th minute of play forced Ionikón FC's goalkeeper Nestoras Roussos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panos Terovolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrastos Rousses having to interfere. Nestoras Roussos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinon Georgas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinon Georgas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestoras Roussos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinon Georgas in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Stathis Papadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolierí's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Papadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestoras Roussos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes Ionikón FC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Ioannidis. After 59 played minutes, Kolierí's Epeios Kotsiopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestoras Roussos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kolierí reached it. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kolierí! If Alkeides Angavanakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Kephalos Tsakoumis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolierí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ionikón FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kolierí's Kephalos Tsakoumis got a free kick in the 69th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Kolierí's goal looked a bit too open when Alkeides Angavanakis came free, but Adrastos Rousses reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Terovolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Adrastos Rousses made a huge save. Zinon Georgas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Panos Terovolas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ionikón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
