Areion Papastavrou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Georgas in the 8th minute of the match. Stathis Papadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Areion Papastavrou having to make a save. Stathis Papadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Areion Papastavrou having to interfere. Akheron Papanicolaou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrastos Rousses showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinekis Doukatelis in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Zinon Georgas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Areion Papastavrou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrastos Rousses showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinekis Doukatelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Stathis Papadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kolierí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ankaios Iymperopoulou hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Zinon Georgas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akheron Papanicolaou made a kick off. Kolierí's Adrastos Rousses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Saatsakis in the 53rd minute of play. Dinekis Doukatelis struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Adrastos Rousses didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ákitsi BC. 60 minutes into the match, Ákitsi BC's goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Papadis came free, but Areion Papastavrou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ákitsi BC's goalkeeper Areion Papastavrou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Akheron Papanicolaou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrastos Rousses having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Alkibiades Tsogas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolierí and the Ákitsi BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ptolemeos Liatos fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kolierí's protests and gave Ptolemeos Liatos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Ptolemeos Liatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kolierí's Adrastos Rousses proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Kolierí from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Kolierí's Adrastos Rousses got control of the ball when Dinekis Doukatelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Ákitsi BC's Dinekis Doukatelis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After having played for 96 minutes, Stathis Papadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kolierí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stathis Papadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
