Thorikos Siannas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tityos Siannas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fanis Villas made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, AEK KOUKLION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadmos Paraskevopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Haides Christodoulou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AEK KOUKLION's zone, Haides Christodoulou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Villas came out of the goal and Haides Christodoulou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fanis Villas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haides Christodoulou, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Tityos Siannas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Haides Christodoulou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laimós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haides Christodoulou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Tityos Siannas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Haides Christodoulou made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Haides Christodoulou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fanis Villas. AEK KOUKLION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haides Christodoulou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tityos Siannas struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Fanis Villas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laimós. The crowd rose to their feet as AEK KOUKLION's Patroklos Orfanos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thorikos Siannas. That made the score 3-1 after 71 minutes of play. Patroklos Orfanos might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thorikos Siannas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patroklos Orfanos ran back to his position shaking his head. Fanis Villas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tityos Siannas in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, one of Laimós:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thorikos Siannas went to the wrong direction when Iphitos Batsakis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Laimós's goalkeeper Thorikos Siannas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kadmos Paraskevopoulos. Laimós's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
