The supporters of Molodechno booed when Minsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genady Smolich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Zahar Nazarszuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivan Esoulov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Labuch having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Molodechno's Zahar Nazarszuk got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branislav Bagdanovich in the 79th minute of play forced Molodechno's goalkeeper Marat Makovsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marat Makovsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Paulenia in the 80th minute of the match. Zahar Nazarszuk was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Molodechno were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
