After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Evgeny Latkovich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szklow's supporters rose to their feet, but Evgeny Latkovich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vseslav Korolev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksey Rabushko in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frol Targovich saved Szklow from getting behind.

When Minsk's Fedor Rakov in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szklow's goalie prevented a goal. If Fedor Rakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frol Targovich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedor Rakov in the 62nd minute of the match. Minsk's Aleksey Rabushko got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Szklow's zone, Aleksey Rabushko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frol Targovich came out of the goal and Aleksey Rabushko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fedor Rakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Frol Targovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nester Gromov kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Oles Lamach sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Minsk's Vseslav Korolev didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Szklow defense, Fedor Rakov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frol Targovich. The Szklow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frol Targovich should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Minsk's Fedor Rakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frol Targovich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oles Lamach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vseslav Korolev. Minsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Szklow's Marat Ignatkevich got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 98 minutes into the match, Minsk's goalkeeper Vseslav Korolev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakov Antonenko. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Minsk had won after a very even match.
