After 5 minutes, Nedko Malinkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nivishta and the FC Owtschari players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nivishta's Nedko Malinkov got a free kick in the 5th minute. Spiridon Sarakinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spiridon Sarakinov in the 16th minute of play forced Nivishta's goalkeeper Gyuro Merodiyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nacho Dzhagarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Nivishta defense, Nacho Dzhagarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gyuro Merodiyski. The Nivishta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gyuro Merodiyski should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Yancho Krusharov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Spiridon Sarakinov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gyuro Merodiyski was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Metodi Terpeshev fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nivishta's protests and gave Metodi Terpeshev a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nivishta's Metodi Terpeshev got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nacho Dzhagarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Spiridon Sarakinov was the one to do the kick off. FC Owtschari's Hristiyan Veznev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yancho Krusharov in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Yancho Krusharov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nivishta's supporters rose to their feet, but Yancho Krusharov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hristiyan Veznev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svetlan Yanushev during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nivishta! The supporters of FC Owtschari booed when Nivishta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedko Malinkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Owtschari's Lazar Betzinski got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 87th minute, one of FC Owtschari:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Owtschari. The attack was good, but when Nedko Malinkov in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. FC Owtschari's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
