Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stoyanovo's Bilyan Matzev started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Stoyanovo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sokol Azmanov hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Lidzene's goal looked a bit too open when Sokol Azmanov came free, but Yuri Angeliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lidzene booed when Stoyanovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sava Tzolovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stoyanovo's zone, Kalin Kuzev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toshko Michkov came out of the goal and Kalin Kuzev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Lidzene's Toshko Michkov threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Huben Angeliev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 27 minutes into the match, Lidzene's Dancho Marinkev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toshko Michkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Lidzene's goal looked a bit too open when Sokol Azmanov came free, but Yuri Angeliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Stoyanovo booed when Lidzene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huben Angeliev didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Stoyanovo's Toshko Michkov got control of the ball when Dancho Marinkev tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kalin Kuzev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bilyan Matzev came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Stoyanovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bilyan Matzev couldn't finish the play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kalin Kuzev to make the kick off. Toshko Michkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalin Kuzev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lidzene's Kalin Kuzev got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dancho Marinkev in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toshko Michkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dancho Marinkev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidzene's supporters rose to their feet, but Dancho Marinkev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toshko Michkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toshko Michkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dancho Marinkev in the 65th minute of the match. Huben Angeliev hit a great ball. Yosif Baykov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Stoyanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Dancho Marinkev came free, but Toshko Michkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Kalin Kuzev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Toshko Michkov. Stoyanovo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kalin Kuzev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sokol Azmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Angeliev having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Dancho Marinkev made a precise shot to the right of Toshko Michkov. Stoyanovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Toshko Michkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dancho Marinkev, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Lidzene's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
