Donyo Tokev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CSKA Avramov getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ilcho Bitzov hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Plamen Govedarski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donyo Tokev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Demirler's Velyo Baylov got a free kick in the 14th minute. Lyudmil Ragin struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Anzhelo Ilyov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSKA Avramov. Thanks to some nice moves Sergey Buranovski could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Anzhelo Ilyov however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, CSKA Avramov's Lyudmil Ragin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anzhelo Ilyov. Anzhelo Ilyov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Demirler booed when CSKA Avramov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miladin Buranovski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anzhelo Ilyov made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sergey Buranovski sent off a good shot on target. Ilcho Bitzov charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilcho Bitzov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Plamen Govedarski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donyo Tokev. CSKA Avramov's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lyudmil Ragin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Demirler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radostin Kibarov to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Velyo Baylov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CSKA Avramov's Donyo Tokev. Donyo Tokev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lyudmil Ragin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lyudmil Ragin made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Spiridon Yachev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demirler's supporters rose to their feet, but Spiridon Yachev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donyo Tokev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Velyo Baylov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donyo Tokev, 1-2. Donyo Tokev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velyo Baylov in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Velyo Baylov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donyo Tokev, 1-3. CSKA Avramov's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Velyo Baylov 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After having played for 86 minutes, Sergey Buranovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSKA Avramov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergey Buranovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Velyo Baylov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Avramov's zone, Spiridon Yachev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donyo Tokev came out of the goal and Spiridon Yachev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donyo Tokev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velyo Baylov, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Demirler's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
