CSKA Gabrene's Kosta Kozov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save CSKA Gabrene from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, CSKA Gabrene's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tzanyo Kúrpachev fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Gabrene's zone, Tzanyo Kúrpachev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kosta Kozov came out of the goal and Tzanyo Kúrpachev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prodan Urdev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tervel Begov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kosta Kozov made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tzanyo Kúrpachev sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Aramazov Plovdiv:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CSKA Gabrene:s goal. The referee gave CSKA Gabrene a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tzvetelin Arseniev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aramazov Plovdiv's Tervel Begov. 1-1. Prodan Urdev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tervel Begov having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tzanyo Kúrpachev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Stoycho Geshakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aramazov Plovdiv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSKA Gabrene the free kick. A collision led to Aramazov Plovdiv getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Stoycho Geshakov hit a great ball. CSKA Gabrene's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tzvetelin Arseniev in the 63rd minute. Tzvetelin Arseniev made a great header on CSKA Gabrene's corner, it was just that Aramazov Plovdiv's Tervel Begov managed to reach the ball for a save. Mavrudi Bayraktarov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Tervel Begov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Velyo Kirichkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Aramazov Plovdiv getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Stoycho Geshakov hit a great ball. Tervel Begov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mavrudi Bayraktarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Aramazov Plovdiv's goalkeeper Tervel Begov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prodan Urdev. Tervel Begov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mavrudi Bayraktarov in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, CSKA Gabrene's goal looked a bit too open when Tzanyo Kúrpachev came free, but Kosta Kozov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
