The referee ignored FC Liverpool's protests and gave Velyo Chomakov a yellow card for diving instead. Velyo Chomakov hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tzvetomir Neshovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Pinho's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Arhangel Hazúrbasanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Tetevenski went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ormani's Tzvetomir Neshovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Pinho in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Pinho in the 20th minute of play forced Ormani's goalkeeper Tzvetomir Neshovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arhangel Hazúrbasanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omurtag Velizarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patrick Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Paiva struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tzvetomir Neshovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Liverpool. After 31 played minutes Ormani got a freekick which was hit by Rafail Staynov. Arhangel Hazúrbasanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoyko Myankov in the 34th minute of the match. Tzvetomir Neshovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Teodor Makarinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafail Staynov took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arhangel Hazúrbasanov. Arhangel Hazúrbasanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omurtag Velizarov to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Stoyko Myankov could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Arhangel Hazúrbasanov however easily saved by the left post. In the 53rd minute of the match Ormani got a corner. FC Liverpool's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anzhelo Yalúmov ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 59 minutes of play, FC Liverpool's Jairo Paiva made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tzvetomir Neshovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Jairo Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Tzvetomir Neshovski. Ormani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Patrick Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Rafail Staynov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Teodor Makarinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Patrick Pinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tzvetomir Neshovski was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
