If Kiril Vradzhaliev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svetlan Rinkov struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Filcho Raynov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds U.. The long shot by Chudomir Kúndev in the 23rd minute really tested Radomir Gunchev's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Svetlan Rinkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Filcho Raynov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Vihar Barutchiev made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Omarche's Filcho Raynov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Radomir Gunchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kiril Vradzhaliev went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, FC Omarche's goal looked a bit too open when Svetlan Rinkov came free, but Filcho Raynov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Gunchev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Chudomir Kúndev.

The supporters of FC Omarche booed when Leeds U. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Totyo Michkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leeds U.'s goalkeeper Radomir Gunchev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Leeds U. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bocho Buhlev hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Kiril Vradzhaliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Omarche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiril Vradzhaliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomir Gunchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiril Vradzhaliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, FC Omarche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikifor Boyarov to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes of play, Leeds U.'s Svetlan Rinkov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filcho Raynov was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Svetlan Rinkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vihar Barutchiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filcho Raynov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leeds U. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
