Pencho Damaskinov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mirolyub Boydev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pencho Damaskinov made a huge save. Anton Gevrenov's late challenge caught a CSKA Yobchovtsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Gevrenov helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes FC Violette got a freekick which was hit by Anton Gevrenov. After a defensive mix-up in FC Violette's zone, Svetlin Sagaev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pencho Damaskinov came out of the goal and Svetlin Sagaev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, FC Violette's goalkeeper Pencho Damaskinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mirolyub Boydev. Mirolyub Boydev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pencho Damaskinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Nelfi Rajšter flew over the goal. CSKA Yobchovtsi's Albert Barbukov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Guzman in the 34th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Brunko Voyvodov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSKA Yobchovtsi's Albert Barbukov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led FC Violette's Vahdet Kalgay to fire away a dangerous shot which Albert Barbukov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Brunko Voyvodov struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Albert Barbukov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Violette. 40 minutes into the match, Rene Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Barbukov. CSKA Yobchovtsi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 45 minutes, Brunko Voyvodov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Violette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brunko Voyvodov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CSKA Yobchovtsi's Antim Slaveykov got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brunko Voyvodov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Barbukov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Guzman in the 54th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Spiridon Staev threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Violette's Vahdet Kalgay quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 67 minutes into the match, FC Violette's Brunko Voyvodov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Barbukov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Violette's Pencho Damaskinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirolyub Boydev in the 70th minute of play.
