An unexpectedly hard shot by Milyo Abadzhiev in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Samovdeni's goalkeeper Yuri Inkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valko Madzhurov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filcho Ficherov having to make a save. Povet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milyo Abadzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valkan Kuzmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Inkov having to interfere. Filcho Ficherov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valko Madzhurov, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Delcho Vitanski charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delcho Vitanski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valko Madzhurov was the one to do the kick off. If Valkan Kuzmanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svilen Dragolov kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Milyo Abadzhiev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute.
