Raycho Kalchishkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolay Hristoskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Vasil Kalpakchiev's late challenge caught a Kositschino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasil Kalpakchiev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, FC Dunav Ruse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasil Kalpakchiev to maneuver through the defense. Paun Maldzyiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metodi Temelakiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Gencho Tzokev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paun Maldzyiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Kositschino's goalkeeper Paun Maldzyiev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dobromir Alandzhiyski. Raycho Kalchishkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastas Bozhinov in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Dunav Ruse's Vasil Kalpakchiev got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Kositschino booed when FC Dunav Ruse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spas Ferkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, FC Dunav Ruse's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolay Hristoskov came free, but Raycho Kalchishkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to FC Dunav Ruse getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Vitomir Zyumbyulev hit a great ball. Paun Maldzyiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Alandzhiyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paun Maldzyiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metodi Temelakiev's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Nikolay Hristoskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raycho Kalchishkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Dobromir Alandzhiyski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paun Maldzyiev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kositschino's zone, Gencho Tzokev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paun Maldzyiev came out of the goal and Gencho Tzokev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kositschino booed when FC Dunav Ruse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spas Ferkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolay Hristoskov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Kositschino's Raycho Kalchishkov threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nikolay Hristoskov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vasil Kalpakchiev kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Paun Maldzyiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dobromir Alandzhiyski's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Raycho Kalchishkov made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Toncho Mutishev sent off a good shot on target. FC Dunav Ruse were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kositschino for a fine match.
