Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Metodi Temelakiev took the kick off in the first half of the match. Metodi Temelakiev scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venelin Tzonkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Metodi Temelakiev had several of the FC Atletik Sofia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Venelin Tzonkov as he didn't even see the shot coming. Venelin Tzonkov was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Metodi Temelakiev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Metodi Temelakiev really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Spas Ferkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dunav Ruse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spas Ferkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raycho Kalchishkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raycho Parichkov in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute Raycho Parichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raycho Kalchishkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raycho Parichkov in the 25th minute of play forced FC Dunav Ruse's goalkeeper Raycho Kalchishkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Atletik Sofia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Zlatko Sinigerski hit a great ball. Dobromir Alandzhiyski struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Venelin Tzonkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dunav Ruse. FC Dunav Ruse's Raycho Kalchishkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raycho Parichkov in the 30th minute of play. FC Atletik Sofia's Venelin Tzonkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Atletik Sofia from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Metodi Temelakiev lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Venelin Tzonkov. The audience was convinced that Metodi Temelakiev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venelin Tzonkov was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute of the match, Metodi Temelakiev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venelin Tzonkov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Venelin Tzonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Alandzhiyski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, FC Atletik Sofia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dobromir Alandzhiyski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 46th minute Metodi Temelakiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venelin Tzonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venelin Tzonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Alandzhiyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raycho Parichkov to strike the kick off in the second half. Venelin Tzonkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metodi Temelakiev's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute FC Dunav Ruse were awarded a corner. Spas Ferkov went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC Dunav Ruse's corner Spas Ferkov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venelin Tzonkov quite easily take care of the ball. In the 56th minute Stoyadin Parlapanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raycho Kalchishkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Raycho Kalchishkov throw himself and got hold of the ball when Stoyadin Parlapanov in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 58 minutes, Raycho Parichkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Atletik Sofia and the FC Dunav Ruse players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Atletik Sofia's Venelin Tzonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencho Tzokev in the 61st minute of play. Galin Bratovanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Zlatko Sinigerski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venelin Tzonkov came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dunav Ruse's Vasil Kalpakchiev. But to his dismay, Vasil Kalpakchiev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 73rd minute of the game Kristiyan Mlechevski made a throw-in which Dafin Yahlev played forward. Dafin Yahlev might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raycho Kalchishkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dafin Yahlev ran back to his position shaking his head. Venelin Tzonkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Metodi Temelakiev's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Dobromir Alandzhiyski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Venelin Tzonkov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Metodi Temelakiev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venelin Tzonkov was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Dafin Yahlev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Dunav Ruse's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Raycho Parichkov scored to the left of an out of position Raycho Kalchishkov, making the score, 6-1. If Metodi Temelakiev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Dunav Ruse had played much better football throughout.
