After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Zlatin Marangozov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Миньор БД's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatin Marangozov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stoil Zachev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petyo Kaldarúmov charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petyo Kaldarúmov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute Doychin Zhablenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoil Zachev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stoil Zachev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Gúrdakov in the 17th minute of play. Belasitsa's Stoil Zachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iliyan Arnaudov in the 18th minute of play. Stoil Zachev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatko Gúrdakov went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Belasitsa's Stoil Zachev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doychin Zhablenski in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Belasitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostadin Bunchev to maneuver through the defense. Миньор БД's Vihar Kulev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Миньор БД from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petyo Kaldarúmov in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vihar Kulev saved Миньор БД from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Миньор БД's Zlatko Gúrdakov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stoil Zachev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slavey Pedev made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Zlatko Gúrdakov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 58th minute, Kostadin Bunchev made a precise shot to the right of Vihar Kulev. Миньор БД's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Vihar Kulev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petyo Kaldarúmov, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kostadin Bunchev couldn't finish the play. Vihar Kulev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostadin Bunchev in the 81st minute of play. Stoil Zachev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Gúrdakov in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Zlatko Gúrdakov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoil Zachev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Миньор БД walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
